The Hospice of the Northwest Foundation raises funds to support the Hospice of the Northwest and the patients and their families that they serve in Skagit, Island, San Juan and Snohomish counties.
Every gift makes a difference. When you contribute to the Hospice of the Northwest Foundation, you become part of a very special group of people who work together to ensure that the best quality of care is available to people in our community with life-limiting illness and their families. Your donations help bridge the gap between reimbursments from Medicare, Medicaid, private insurance and the actual cost of patient services. Donations also fund vital comfort and counseling programs and training for staff and volunteers.
Programs supported by donations to the Hospice of the Northwest Foundation include:
- Uncompensated Care Fund for patients without Medicare, Medicaid or Insurance
- Emergency Assistance Fund for patient expenses
- Grief Support Groups, Information Workshops, and our Resource Library
- Music Therapy Program for patients
- Massage Therapy Program for patients
The Hospice of the Northwest Foundation is a non-profit, 501 (c) (3) organization and accepts donations throughout the year. All contributions made to Hospice of the Northwest Foundation are tax-deductible as allowed by law.
