Ted was born and raised in Nebraska, where his family had a farm near the rural community of West Point. He earned a BA in Business Administration with a double major in Accounting and Finance. Ted went on to perform work in accounting, finance and internal auditing for a cable company and two hospital systems in the Denver area beginning in 1985. In 1999 he began working for Affiliated Health Services, and continued employment in 2004 as the Controller for United General Hospital.
Ted is currently responsible for oversight of all operational and financial matters for United General District 304 administration and program services. These include Community Health Outreach Programs (CHOP); the Fitness Center; the Landing; and Women Infants Children (WIC).-over 25 health related services. He is also responsible for managing and maintaining District 304 assets.
Ted feels his work matters, because working in health care and an industry that helps people maintain a better quality of life has always been important to him. Hobbies and interests include church-related activities such as mission trips (in Canada, Mexico, and Africa), and also being involved in local community service.
