FAQ and Informational Visits
Frequently asked question visits are helpful to those who want to learn more about hospice, but are not ready to come on service. If you or someone you love has been given a diagnosis of a life limiting condition this visit is a great starting point.
We will go over:
- What is hospice?
- How is hospice paid for?
- What qualifications do I need to meet to begin services?
and other common questions people have. It is our mission to bring compassion and dignity every moment of life and support patients and their families through one of life’s most difficult times.

Informational visits are geared toward patients and their families who are facing a life limiting condition and have been given a prognosis of 6 months of less. This type of visit is generally done after a referral to hospice care has been made. This referral can be done by anyone, as long as patient consent has been received.
The patient and/or their loved ones are given in depth information about our hospice team, the care we give, what is covered while you are on hospice care and how it is paid for.
At the conclusion of this visit you are given a guidebook and appendices to help answer any additional questions you may have. Hospice staff is also available to answers these questions, too.
