We are looking for an experienced Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) to join us in provided amazing end-of-life care for hospice patients in their own homes. This is a non-benefited, contract position that gives you the opportunity to have a flexible schedule to fit into your current work week. Pay is $50/hour with total pay based on treatment time, meetings, travel time, and administrative tasks. Mileage is reimbursed at the current Federal rate. We provide hospice care in Snohomish, Skagit, San Juan, and Island counties. Territory and average hours worked per week to be determined based on need at the time of hire.
Duties & Responsibilities
- As part of an interdisciplinary team, you will provide massage therapy for patients in their place of residence. This includes assessment and providing multiple treatment modalities that address the unique needs of each patient. Modalities include Manual Lymph Drainage (MLD), techniques to relieve constipation, and cranial sacral therapy to name a few. Energy work, including Reiki and Therapeutic Touch are also helpful for hospice patients.
- Document treatment in the electronic medical record.
- Communicate with team members to assure optimal patient care.
- Attend meetings as assigned (currently via Zoom).
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of Massage Therapy
- Licensed in Washington State as a Massage Therapist
- Professional Liability Insurance [Minimum $1 Million Claim & $3 Million General Liability]
- Required proof of immunizations: MMRx2, Varicellax2, current flu vaccine or declination, and COVID-19 vaccines

Ergonomic Considerations
Massage is provided to patients while they are in their recliner, chair or bed. It requires the LMT to be able to adjust to a variety of environmental challenges in order to provide treatment.
