Hospice of the Northwest

Kirsten Hackworth

Nursing Clinical Manager

Joined Hospice of the Northwest in 2004, and again in 2019

Kirsten started in the healthcare field as a CNA. She worked her way up to LPN, then received her RN from Skagit Valley College, followed by a BSN from the University of Washington Bothell. Kirsten worked in outpatient clinics for 13 years before joining Hospice of the Northwest as an RN case manager in 2004.

Kirsten briefly left Hospice of the Northwest, moving to a new area and expanding her nursing career to include nurse management. Kirsten returned to Hospice of the Northwest as the Clinical Manager of Nurses in 2019.

From her first day at Hospice of the Northwest, Kirsten knew this is where she belongs. To be able to help patients stay comfortable and at peace as they approach the end of their life is incredibly gratifying to her.

When she’s not at work, Kirsten likes to stay active and spend time with family. You may find her at the beach hunting for agates, hiking, running, or taking photos.
