Hospice of the Northwest helps people in many phases of life:
We bring patients into hospice care who have elected to not seek life-extending or curative treatment for a condition or disease whose natural progression will end life within six months.
There is no time limit on hospice; patients, caregivers and families will receive services as long as there is a need.
Hospice is not just for cancer patients.
Hospice care is offered to people of all ages, who are living with cancer, ALS, AIDS, Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, stroke, Parkinson’s disease, and end-stage heart, lung, kidney or liver disease.
Below is our guidebook which gives some basic criteria that may qualify you for hospice care, but always call or email to schedule an information meeting with one of our dedicated staff members. We would be more than happy to answer all your questions.
