Ports of Call Gala & Auction
Join Us in Wonderland for the 23rd Annual Ports of Call Gala & Auction!
Click the ticket to go down the rabbit hole!
The Annual Ports of Call Gala & Auction is our biggest fundraiser of the year. This fall, go down the rabbit hole with us as we transform the Corporate Air Center into Alice’s Wonderland. Join us as we raise money to ensure every patient who needs end-of-life support can access compassionate and dignified hospice care.
Hospice of the Northwest Foundation, through your donations, funds integrative services like massage therapy, therapeutic music, and therapeutic pet visits, which improve the quality of life for the patients we serve.
Help us raise money to support programs that honor Veterans or that help a patient find a new home for their beloved pet.
The Hospice of the Northwest serves residents of Island, San Juan, Skagit, and North Snohomish counties. The Hospice of the Northwest Foundation works hard to meet the needs of the patients and caregivers in a service area with 5,254 square miles and a combined population of just over a million people.
We have our work cut out for us! Last year, Elma Johnson made her last blackberry pie, surpassing the Guinness World Record for “Most Expensive Pie Sold at Auction.” Let’s see if we can match the $60,000 raised from Elma’s famous blackberry pie at our Dessert Dash, featuring over 40 delicious and locally-created desserts. That’s just $1,500 per dessert—so it should be a piece of cake!

How are donations used?
One of the many ways your support makes a difference in the lives of hospice patients is through Integrative Services.
Sometimes, conventional medical treatments fail to completely manage a patient’s symptoms of pain and suffering at the end of life. For these patients, Integrative Services like music, massage, aromatherapy, and energy work can help manage pain, anxiety, nausea, depression, as well as improve sleep and restfulness.
Despite their effectiveness in improving quality of life, Integrative Services are not funded by the Medicare Hospice benefit or other insurances. Because of this, we rely on the generosity of donors to continue to make these services available free of charge to our patients.
Donors like you help Hospice of the Northwest deliver individualized and expert clinical care that is as diverse and individual as the people they serve. When you raise your paddle, you help make treatments like Integrative Services available for Hospice of the Northwest patients.
Your gift matters: Your gift makes a difference.
“My heart is full of so much gratitude for your wonderful team. You have now helped my family with the passing of both my parents. You make a difficult situation as sweet as it can possibly be and I will be forever thankful!”
