Tribute Gifts

Making a gift in someone’s memory celebrates the person’s life and legacy. Memorial gifts are also a meaningful way to express condolences to their loved ones. A gift made in someone’s honor often expresses gratitude for the help received or marks a special occasion like a birthday or anniversary.

Obituary Language Examples

Thank you for considering us when crafting your loved one’s obituary. Below are some samples of text that can be used to encourage family and friends to provide a gift to honor your loved one:

Example 1
The family would like the thank Hospice of the Northwest for their compassionate care. Memorial contributions may be sent in lieu of flowers to The Hospice of the Northwest Foundation at 227 Freeway Dr. Suite A, Mount Vernon, WA 98273 or online at www.hospicenw.org

Example 2
As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions may be sent to The Hospice of the Northwest Foundation at 227 Freeway Dr. Suite A, Mount Vernon, WA 98273 or online at www.hospicenw.org

Example 3

Notifications

If you would like the person or family to be notified of your gift, please include the contact name and address. We will send a note acknowledging your gift. We never disclose the donation amount.

Each donor is sent their own thank you letter and tax receipt.
