JOMO

Give yourself the “Joy of Missing Out” in the New Year

Working in healthcare is often overwhelming. There’s always more to learn and there are so many ways to add to our workload: presenting at conferences, attending seminars, joining committees.  FOMO (Fear of Missing Out) can weigh extra heavily as we try to stay current for patients and serve our medical communities.

Saying “no” to some activities can give us a chance to pause, reflect on what really matters, re-establish a healthy balance – and bring joy.
