VitalTalk Tips is free and easy to use. Its layered structure allows you to use it to quickly review a topic before a difficult conversation or to study in greater depth. It sends a few invitations weekly to improve your skills with tips that take only a few seconds to review. Here is an example of advice on delivering serious news:

If your patient looks perplexed . . . instead of explaining more, pause and ask “What’s going through your mind right now?”

If you find out exactly where your patient is stuck, you can address that precisely.
